CTO Plus, organized by the Cardiovascular Research Foundation, is the leading annual conference dedicated to chronic total occlusion and complex percutaneous coronary intervention, drawing the most experienced operators in the world to New York City each February.
Dr. Michael Megaly, interventional cardiologist at Integris Health Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, was invited to serve as faculty at CTO Plus 2026, held February 13–14, 2026, at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City. Dr. Megaly participated as a panelist in a session dedicated to the latest research advances in CTO PCI and complex PCI published in 2025.

The panel format placed Dr. Megaly alongside leading interventional cardiologists from across the United States and internationally to critically evaluate and discuss the body of research that advanced the field over the prior year. Presentations at CTO Plus are drawn from the highest-volume, most technically demanding CTO and complex PCI programs globally, and panel faculty are selected for their direct contributions to research, technique development, and patient outcomes in this subspecialty.
CTO Plus 2026 marks Dr. Megaly's continued participation as invited faculty at the conference across multiple consecutive years, reflecting his standing within the international CTO PCI community. His research output includes more than 200 peer-reviewed publications, with contributions to JACC: Cardiovascular Interventions, the European Heart Journal, Circulation, and the American Journal of Cardiology, as well as contributions in the Manual of CTO PCI and the Manual of PCI.
Dr. Michael Megaly specializes in complex and high-risk coronary interventions, chronic total occlusion (CTO) PCI, surgical turn-downs, complex peripheral artery disease, and limb salvage at Integris Health Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City.
